摘要:
以就业为导向,以职业英语为途径,培养学生的职场英语应用能力,提高就业竞争力是高职公共英语课程的主要功能之一。通过探讨慕课背景下高职院校就业导向的公共英语课程模块设计原则及相应的教学模式(包括:共核英语模块,即继续培养学生的英语共核能力;应用英语模块,即培养学生行业英语应用能力,主要指行业英语听说和阅读能力; 职业英语模块,即模拟职场英语场景),以提升学生语言基本功和其职业英语应用能力,是提高高职公共英语教学质量的前提。
Abstract:
One of the main tasks of General English in vocational colleges is trying to develop students’ application skills in the workplace in order to better their competitiveness in job hunting. Three modules of General English curriculum in vocational colleges are explored, including the cultivation of students’ basic language skills, cultivation of students’ ability to use English for general purpose and cultivation of students’ professional English skills, which aims to improve students’ basic language skills and professional English skills, and is the key to improving the quality of General English teaching in vocational colleges as well.
